Dr. Kapur grew up in Arizona and is returning home! He left in 2007 for medical school in Vallejo, CA, then joined the Army and served for 7 years. His duty stations included Ft. Lewis-McChord in Tacoma, WA as well as Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Anchorage, AK. He completed his residency in Family Medicine and obtained his Board Certification at Madigan Army Medical Center; then acted as the Medical Director of the Troop Medical Clinic in Alaska. He then left and joined Straub Medical Center as a staff physician before coming home to the Valley of the Sun. He focuses on full spectrum family medicine including adult health, pediatrics, nutrition, screenings, preventative care and chronic disease management. He has a special emphasis on the preventative portion of health and enjoys empowering patients to take charge of their health. His personal interests include reading, photography, swimming, diving, hiking and cooking.
