Dr. Corrie Jasmine Thompson grew up in Wisconsin and received degrees in Biology and Spanish from University of Minnesota Duluth. She then attended Cornerstone in Buegen, the Netherlands, obtain a certificate in Intercultural Studies. In 2010 she graduated from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM) in Tempe, AZ. As a young girl, she knew she wanted to help others, and she was fascinated with the use of medicinal wild plants. When she first heard about naturopathic medicine and later attended SCNM, it became clearer and clearer that this occupation would be a great fit for her. Naturopathic medicine offers a hands-on style of medicine with physical manipulation (adjustments), soft tissue massage, and minor surgery. She now focuses on women’s medicine, gastrointestinal conditions, and thyroid conditions. Both men and women can schedule with her. She is bilingual (English and Spanish).
While not at work she enjoys God's creation through entomology, exercise, microscopes, rainy days and finding any body of water to explore. She also enjoys spending time with her family and a serious board game with her friends.
