Bonnie McDonald earned her BS in Biology from Grand Canyon University, graduating Summa Cum Laude in 1997. This was followed by her medical degree from Midwestern University, Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2002. She completed her internship and Family Medicine residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center and was nominated as Arizona’s Outstanding Second-Year Family Practice Resident during her tenure at St. Joseph’s Hospital. She is a diplomat with the American Board of Family Medicine since 2004. She is Chair of the Family Practice Department and is an active member of Medical Executive Committee at Arrowhead Hospital. She previously held leadership roles on the Physician Leadership Counsel, Credential Committee and was Vice Chair of the Family Practice Department. She enjoys all aspects of medicine, caring for the young as well as the aging population. When not caring for patients, Dr. McDonald Watson enjoys the beach, hiking, fishing running and spending time with family and friends.
