Dr. Novak is from Crosby, Minnesota and completed her doctorate in osteopathic medicine in Des Moines, Iowa in 1999. She completed her internship and residency in internal medicine in Phoenix, Arizona. She has been Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine since 2003. She has experience as a hospitalist, primary caregiver in the outpatient setting, as well as a subacute caregiver. She has a special interest in the management of diabetes, heart disease, hypertension, and preventative medicine.
