Shelby has been a nurse practitioner since 2007. She earned her master’s degree in Family Nurse Practitioner Specialization at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
She is certified in family medicine and cares for patients of all ages. In addition to working in the family practice setting in Fargo, North Dakota and Moorhead, Minnesota, she also worked for four year in the college health setting at UND in Grand Forks.
Shelby believes that every person is a unique individual, as well as a member of a family and the society in which we live. As such, the person needs to be treated with respect, encompassing the body, mind and spirit. The focus of her care is health promotion as well as disease prevention.
She began her medical career in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She moved to sunny Arizona to be close to family and to enjoy the mild winters. She enjoys counted cross stitching, crocheting, hiking and biking. She lives in Mesa, Arizona.
