The word Yoga, or ‘Yog’ means Union in Sanskrit, and the term is used to describe a set of physical, mental and spiritual practices aimed at unifying the mind, the body and the spirit. While estimates on the origin of Yoga vary because it predates written history, it is generally accepted that the classical techniques of Yoga date back more than 5,000 years.

There are numerous studies that demonstrate that the practice of Yoga affords many health benefits such as strengthening the musculoskeletal system, boosting the immume system, decrease anxiety and depression, improve sleep, stabilize blood sugar levels, reduce blood pressure and many more.
